Flux Active Service strengthens position as Parker distributor in Norway

Flux Group’s subsidiary, Flux Active Service, strengthens its distribution agreement with Parker Hannifin, the world’s leading manufacturer of hoses and couplings for the oil and gas industry. Flux Active Service has been awarded a major contract for the delivery of Parker BOP umbilicals to COSL Drilling Europe, and is about to open its own Parker Store as one of few selected partners in Norway.

Flux Active Service awarded framework agreement by COSL

Stavanger, Norway – 27 April 2017: Flux Group’s subsidiary, Flux Active Service, has signed a one-year frame agreement, with a renewal option for two additional years, with the rig company COSL Drilling Europe AS. The delivery of hoses and couplings in connection with classification of the drilling rig COSL Promoter, represents the first major project under the new agreement.

Flux Group acquires Analytic AS

Stavanger, 31 March 2017: Flux Group has signed an agreement to buy the instrumentation company Analytic AS in Larvik, Norway. The acquisition represents the first stepping stone into Flux Group’s investment in the Instrumentation, Measurement, and Analysis (IMA) segment.

Another Johan Sverdrup-contract awarded to Flux Group

Stavanger 30 January 2017: Flux Group’s subsidiary Active Service has been awarded a contract for the provision of 40 hydraulic umbilicals and hoses for a wellhead control system to the engineering and manufacturing company CRE8 Systems AS. The equipment will be installed at the Johan Sverdrup-field. Flux Group has now secured Johan Sverdrup-related contracts within all its product segments.

Flux Group acquires “Hoses & Couplings” division from Fluid Control

Stavanger, 16 November 2016: Flux Group has entered into an agreement to acquire Active Service – the “Hoses & Couplings” division from Fluid Control. The acquisition is in line with the Flux Group strategy to become a leading supplier of equipment to the oil and gas industry. The Hoses & Couplings division was the largest part of the now bankrupt Fluid Control and had a turnover of approximately NOK 160 million in 2015.

Flux Group signs another significant Johan Sverdrup-contract

Stavanger 10 December 2015: K2JV ANS, a joint venture between Kellog Brown & Root (Norway) AS and Kværner Stord AS, has awarded Flux Group’s subsidiary Norwegian Piping a contract for provision of pipes, fittings, flanges and special items to the utility and living quarter platform on the Johan Sverdrup-field. The contract has an initial value of about NOK 40 million. Flux Group companies have to date in 2015 secured Johan Sverdrup-related contracts worth more than NOK 120 million.

Flux Group awarded Johan Sverdrup contract

Stavanger 11 May 2015: Statoil, as operator for the Johan Sverdrup field in the Norwegian North Sea, has awarded Flux Group a contract to deliver valves to this major field development. The initial contract value is NOK 60-70 million.

Flux Group acquires Vest Ventil and strengthens valve commitment

Stavanger 12 January 2015: Flux Group has acquired all of the shares in the Bergen-based valve company Vest Ventil. This is the third acquisition since August 2014, and the transaction strengthens Flux Group’s position as a supplier of equipment to oil and gas companies on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS).

Flux Group, a newly founded company owned by HitecVision, has agreed to acquire IKM Valves. The acquisition is a testament to Flux Group’s ambition to invest in and further develop IKM Valves. The management and all employees in the newly acquired company will stay on.
